Who we are

This site presents NiceDB, a free and open-source database client. The site is run by Max (github.com/maxib0n). Contact: privacy@nicedb.app.

The app

NiceDB runs on your computer. Your connections, queries and data stay on your machine: the app has no account and sends nothing to us. Passwords are kept in your operating system's keychain. If you enable update checks, the app asks GitHub for the latest release; GitHub receives your IP address as for any download.

This website

The site is hosted on GitHub Pages. GitHub may log technical data such as your IP address for security; see GitHub's privacy statement. The live demo runs entirely in your browser on made-up data and stores your demo preferences only in your browser's local storage.

Analytics

Only if you accept analytics in the cookie banner, we load Google Analytics 4 (Google Ireland Ltd). It counts visits, pages viewed, referrer, browser, device type and approximate country; IP addresses are not stored in full. Google may process this data in the United States under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. We use it only to understand which pages are useful; we do not use advertising features. You can withdraw consent at any time from «Cookie settings» in the footer. Legal basis: your consent (GDPR art. 6(1)(a)).

Videos on this site are served from this site itself; they set no cookies.

Your rights

You can ask for access, correction, deletion or restriction of your data, object to processing, and complain to your data protection authority. Write to privacy@nicedb.app.
